tgtrains: Thanks for the info! I'm a fan of high-speed electrics and Maglev, but this is really fast for a diesel — can you tell me the speed? during this video? Of course, it's welded track which helps — fabulous!

Love this video! Is this an electric train? Because at around 2:43 the overhead catenary system disappears — very puzzling.
