@ClaireConrad—the book of Psalms; I Chronicles 15:28, 2 Chron. 7:6 & 34:12, 2 Kings 3:15). But the very meaning of “sacred harp” is the unaccompanied human voice. The complexity of the harmonies (another reason to consign solos to the ash heap) cannot be fully appreciated nor whole-heartedly produced by the singers if they have the crutch and supplantation of any instrument other than their own voices.

This is a wonderful example of a great blend of traditional and modern gospel musical styles and the performance and video is top notch for sure! One of my favorites this year!
