Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik Tuesday told the National Assembly that the government is ive of the culprits in Umarkot (Sindh) abduction case have already surrendered while rest culprits are yet at large. Responding to a point of order by MNA Yousuf Talpur, the Advisor told the House that on January 5, some unknown persons kidnapped a person from Umerkot but the police failed to take timely action for the recovery of the abductee. He said the police teams reached the site, where the kidnappers had kept the adbuctee, for recovery but returned unsuccessful saying that that hundreds of the armed men had surrounded the said place. The Advisor assured the House that a comprehensive report will be presented to the House soon. He sought from the House two day time to investigate the incident and presenting the report to the Lower House of the Parliament.
