The govt. opts for the Hague to try violence suspects

The government has resigned itself to The Hague option for trying suspects of the post election violence. A joint statement by President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga released today makes no mention of a local tribunal. The statement, which was not read out to the media, was issued after the two leaders met former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan at Harambee House.

i agree with you. Luos won't allow Raila to be frog marched to Hague neither will the Kikuyus allow Kibaki to go to the hague. this hague idea is a total watse of time if Kibaki and Raila are not at the forfront....kenyans fought for them

Hague is not the place you take your tribal shenanigans .UN and AU knows Kibaki and Raila stole elections but one side decided settle scores by killing helpless kids and women.
