its the power of positive energy that flows through. that is why prays are often answered when people rather and form a circle. i have noticed that in a car accident that people gather and the fire dept or police say stand back give us room. well one accident it took the fire dept a long time people gathered held hands in a circle and we prayed. bad accident you guess the ending? love you.

@streakz1231 The word for "dance" in ivirit IS rikud, you're correct. However, the word for circle dance is "machol," like I said, and that is the word used in Tehillim almost all of the time.
-
The origins are certainly suspicious tho' it's not specifically spoken against in Torah...the congregation we attend actually has this on their homepage which surprised me to say the least! " the "circle dance" which represents unity. It is also a traditional Judaic belief that demonic forces cannot penetrate a circle." which is totally unscriptural & kabbalistic. I can't say that anyone who dances in a circle is involved in pagan worship though.

@RakdanimShelAdonai And it does not say in scripture to dance in a circle while holding hands as a form of worship. It is a mythical fertility ritual emanating from Ba'al the sun aluahym (mighty one) worship according to wiccans and witches impregnated the ''mother earth'',הוה would not want people to worship him in any manner that the heathens do period,he says be set-apart as he is Qodesh (set-apart).
-
Actually the ibriya or hebrew word for dance is rikud ריקוד there is a diffrence between being joyful and simple dancing then following the heathen traditions of men.And lets look at the origins of the word ''circle'' comes from the anglo-saxon word kirke, circe which is also where circus or cirque de solei comes from meaning ''church of the sun'' invented by the Teutonic peoples to honor the Sun ''learn not the ways of the heathen'' the scriptures dont state that circle dancing is acceptable.

@RakdanimShelAdonai in non Jewish cultures because it is a natural way to dance - it is easy for a group to dance in a circle because then you never run out of room, also because then, as ipoddoctor said below, you are in fellowship with your fellow dancers. I know you are probably set in your ways and will not change your views, but I hope I've helped some other people reading these comments not to be decieved by this video - which is all hype and conspiracy theories.

The problem with this is that dancing, YES, IN A CIRCLE, is mentioned in the scriptures as a good thing. You are obviously very passionate for HaShem, but you also clearly do not speak Hebrew. Dance is mentioned as a valid form of worship many times by King David and in the Torah. What you obviously do not know, however, is that one of the words translated as "dance" (the word "Machol" or מחול) doesn't just mean "dance," it means "dance IN A CIRCLE" or reel. The circle dance is so common

sun shines ...man gives....right side of brain lighten
earth grows ...woman grows...left side of brain feels
some people are more powerful in left side and some are in right side...
the aim of this circulation is to combine these two major participants of existence of peace...
wisdom or light or sun +love or growth or earth
Now it's the time that we are going to be mature...
since you can still guess what a child gonna look alike when he/she becomes a mature...we can guess we gonna look like..
-
when a child is born it looks like his/her parents and after being mature it becomes an independent creature like his/her parents...
Human being's mind has two right and left side... the right side is more responsible for logical issues and wisdom...and the left side is more responsible for the feelings...
right side is actually taken from the sun(shines and lightens)
left side of the brain instead is taken from the earth( feels and loves)
combination of wisdom and feeling is lgoodness
thank you so much for sharing this. i am currently teaching dance as a form of worship to our YHWH and am so thankful that the Lord has led me to this video. God be praised! never have and will never ever participate nor teach circle dances!
