    I got an 88 535is, just did an automatic to manual conversion.

    So far ive done that, completely redid the front end, all suspension, big break upgrade, got some beefy fuckin sway bars (need the mounts to install them though).

    Up next on the list is a turbo kit im thinking.

    How much did it cost you to do the new paint job, and the mtech kit??

  • The paint job cost right at 3000, and the mtech was 1500 shipped. so basically a shit ton.

  • Looks good! I'm considering upgrading to MS on mine, but I'm doing alright with my piggyback setup. I'd look for a cheap ebay intercooler that you can cram up front.

  • i pretty much had to do a MS stand alone on mine. The car was some ones project before and it ended up in a wiring nightmare with gremlin after gremlin. the front mount intercooler is going to fit in the front similar to yours with the charge pipe running across the bottom, I already have 3" intercooler(24x15x3) and piping, just need to install it. i just dont have a cutter for the pipe. im currently waiting on a set of 55 pound injectors so it can be easily tuned using the MS for 13psi.
