Hoofprints On My Heart♥

So, I wanted to make one last video of Lucky before I delete all the videos of him off my computer. They're just taking up too much room and I need new stuff, I'll put them back on my comp. in a couple months, maybe.

Anyways, to get to the point of this video..
This past week, I've gone through a real "missing Lucky" time. I kept thinking of all the times we had, everything we did, everything that was lost on that horrible day in November. But then I got to remembering how Lucky was just the happiest horse you could ever find. What would he think of me, down here sitting around all miserable and missing him? That made me feel better, if Lucky wanted me to be happy then I would. Now I've got a new horse to love and ride and everything is pretty much back to normal. Whenever I'm scared to jump or compete or even just go get a horse from their paddock(and trust me, there've been several intances within the last months) I know Lucky's right there beside me.

So Luckeroo this ones for you. Don't have too much fun up there without me:)

I took lessons on a 14.1 hands tall bay, and I learned to canter on him and then his owner sold him. After about a year that this little girl had ridden him and he was fairly young, he coliced and was put down. I cryed and cryed. :( I loved him...If I could ride him one more time it would give me a chance to say goodbye. I <3 you tiny

i put down my two old mares, rose and sugar on 6/20/09. viewing this video was moving since my heart is still freshly wounded. what a wonderful partnership you and lucky had! this vid really captures the many experiences you shared and memories that will live in your heart forever. he waits for you in heaven to romp and jump again one day in paradise. go lucky!!
