  • Oral appliances don't touch apnea. Only feesable for very mild snoring and UAR. An AHI from 60 to 55 is not a solution, especially when the limit is 5 events or less per hour.

    Any improvement is usually a "placebo" effect and problems return within 3 months or so. Proper education from trained sleep professionals in the use of CPAP is by far the most effective method.
