Denver Broncos - 2005 Pre-Season Promo

CBS4 carries all Broncos pre-season games. In 2005, we tapped into Broncos fans' summertime eagerness to see anything - ANYTHING - happen on the field at INVESCO. So our (then) pre-season team of Steve Atkinson, Gary Miller, and (now soap star) Mark Schlereth are in the booth calling plays, with Vic Lombardi reporting on the sidelines. Thing is, this ain't a game... it's just the grounds crew painting lines. But hell - a true fan would watch even that if it's packaged right! :) And so a cute promo was born. Shot over 3 days... one day in the booth, another with the grounds crew painting, and a third with Vic "interviewing" the crew captain. 100 degrees + on field, and let's just say a giant fan was needed in the booth, which had to be turned off during takes for audio purposes. Lots of work, but fun.
