Lynne Achterberg, of Project Purr, and Amy Martin, who resigned recently from Animal Services after six years (recently as the client services supervisor), speak during Oral Communications at the Board of Supervisors meeting in Santa Cruz on January 8, 2008, regarding problems with the Animal Services (ASA) Board, and the lack of citizen input, concerns about euthanasia, and how the ASA board is poised to hire a General Manager who is a budgetary professional without very much shelter experience.
