Sony PSP-3000 comparison

Gizmodo Australia got their hands on the new PSP-3000 and compared it to the current PSP-2000 model. Despite the 3000 supposedly having a brighter screen, we couldn't tell the difference, either indoors or outdoors.

yeah the black is the 3000 and the white is the 2000. The only way I could tell for sure was by looking at the home buttons on the bottom/

So really the only difference between the first 3 PSP's is size(between 1000 and 2000/3000) and screen brightness, right? I'm pondering getting a PSP, but the only one in my price range at the moment is the very first version, but I'll pass if it's not worth the money. o_O

psp 3000 has the LCD screen that's the only difference

playing under sunlight psp 3000 u can see the screen slightly better, but still no big difference than psp 2000

Dude the black one is the 3000 for the home button.and the 2000 is the white/silver.

only a slight difference between the 2000 and 3000, I will stick with my star wars edition PSP 2000.
