The ultimate memory of one of the greatest screen partnerships ever.
What happened to the cars?
The exact whereabouts of Tony's Ferrari Dino is unknown to this day, but it is believed to be in private ownership in Italy. Roger's Aston Martin DBS "PPP 6H" was restored to perfection by the Aston Martin factory and now resides with a private owner in the UK - see it on Facebook (search for "PPP6H")

my money would be on the Ferrari,but I'd sooner take the Aston home.(with the Ferrari in the garage for whenever it took my fancy!!)

Lovely trip down memory lane. Of course - as a Brit I always want the Aston to win - great big bruiser that it was. Fact is though - it's handling wasn't great and the Ferrari would have wiped the floor with it (even if it was having a bad day).
Great series though - one of the greats - funny and elegant - so different to the blood and guts forensic stuff continually churned out nowadays.

great program in its day, but i see the re runs, the studio sets are so tacky, loveley days then, a little more simple.and any commoner like me could afford to run a nice car, sad really, the cost of petrol...xx happy days
