I bought battlefields are you are right, it works fine with the silverline edition..three questions 1) when a player reaches the end of the main track line, or the last event is played, his turn finishes, right?, and in the next scenario the next player starts his/her turn. 2) if one of the other tracks is complete and you draw that tile, does it function as a wild tile or simply not count for anything and 3) do i have to resolve the final trigger tiles at the last event in battlefields? thnks

thanks! i'll wait a bit and keep playing the base game for now and when i can't take it i'll get the battlefields.

We have this one. Is kinda too basic board game and not the kind of game I usually would like to play but if i remember right this was quite fun actually. It's years since last time playing and saddly I noticed we are missing some stuff inside. I hope it is still playable though.

@RaTeXiLaiho Search for "Lord of the Rings board game" and you'll find it. There's the original version (as shown in my videos) and the new smaller version (which doesn't have expansions... yet).

hi i bought lotr based on your review...ive played it twice and i really like it. especially as i am a big lotr fan...thanks. the only thing is i bought the silverline edition, not knowing the difference. what do you think about playing with older expansions? and do you have any info about ffg releases silverline expansions?

@chrisblackomatic I have no idea about whether FFG will release the expansions in that format. They might...
I'm not sure if Friends & Foes or Sauron would work as well, but I think you should be able to use the Battlefields expansion pretty easily, as long as you can straighten out the differences between the symbols. The cards won't match, but it doesn't really matter as the feature cards are dealt out separately, anyway, and the Gandalf cards are just laid face-up on the table.

Hi.... I am new to board games (apart form the ones we all played as under 4's like cludo and stuff) And have had a really hard time learning the rules to LOTR and this video really helped. I was wondering if you are still interested if you could do a SET UP tutorial and a complete TURN , or maybe 2 TURNS so we can see exactly how you do it... Thanks in advance. PS - if you have Arkham Horror i am totally lost on that as well :)

Hi there. Part 3 of this series is a full playthrough of a scenario. As far as setup goes, I'm not planning to do a separate tutorial for that, but if you have any questions about that, please feel free to ask here or at boardgamegeek.
