Recently the city has improved dramatically! Since 2008, Liverpool is probably the most vibrant and pleasant city in the country.
Plus the people are friendly and welcoming!
Oh, and Scousers saying they love their city doesn't mean that they are arrogant. I think you need to get your dictionary out.
