Ghost Scares New York Knicks

The New York Knicks blame loss on Ghost in Hotel....resulting in a lack of sleep.

The Knicks suffered one of their major losses in the field and they are contributing it all, to the haunted hotel - Skirvin Hotel where they stayed. For over 2 days numerous players had a hard time at the hotel because they could hardly sleep.

I definitely believe it, Jared Jeffries said. The place is haunted. Its scary. Eddy Curry says that he slept for only two hours on Sunday night because he couldnt stop thinking about ghosts roaming the hotel. And apparently the lack of sleep played havoc when they were on the field playing in the game. So they all are attributing their loss in the game to the haunted hotel.

The story behind the haunted hotel is that one employee of the hotel had an affair with a maid. When she became pregnant then she was locked up in a room in the hotel, so that word about the unwanted pregnancy doesnt get out of the hotel. Then it is said that the woman became crazy and she gave birth in that room and then jumped out from the window and died.

Since then the guests staying at the Skirvin Hilton have reported ghost sightings and strange noises. They said it happened on the 10th floor and Im the only one staying on the 10th floor, Curry said. Thats why I spent most of my time in (Nate Robinsons) room. I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel.

lol, The Chicago Bulls also said it's haunted. When they stayed there two nights ago . Taj Gibson said his bathroom slammed shut at about 12:15 am. and D-Rose said him and James Johnson heard noises through the night in the hall. lol

the legend is that the OWNER not one of the workers, had an affair with a maid named effie and he didnt want word to get out and ruin his business so he locked effie up on the highest floor(attic) , so no one could find her. she eventually gave birth to the baby and didnt want the baby to grow up in that room so she jumped of the balcony with the baby and died. her ghost now haunts the hotel. people say they hear a baby cry, they c a maid (effie) , and a lady does "stuff " to the men there.

my uncle works at the skirvin as a cook.......he told me he was alone in the kitchen one night and suddenly pots and pans started banging!! scary!!
