The Trial of Guinevere (A/G/L)

A retelling of the Arthurian love triangle. Although this is technically a sequel, you don't need to watch the previous video (Guinevere's Tale) in order to understand what's going on.




There were so many different ways to wrap up this video. I hope it's satisfactory to Arthur/Gwen fans and Lancelot/Gwen fans. I tried to give both couples equal weight, but I could only choose one in the end.

I get that you ship Lancelot/Gwen and that's why you'd have preferred it go this way. It's a well edited video. The clips and voice overs all match up perfectly. But I'm a Gwen/Arthur shipper so I gotta say I'm glad they did what they did on the show. Cause at least this version of Gwen I can like and there's something redeemable in the traingle for once in a telling of the legend.

AW...may I just say that this is so much better than the real episode? Like a thousand times better! I mean, I understand why they made Guinevere being enchanted but it´d have been so much more realistic if she wasn´t under a spell and that´s what I love the most in your video, the way you tell the story that makes us feel so close to the characters. I adore this romantic triangle but, just like you, I prefer the ending with Lancelot/Gwen. My poor Arthur though. Once again, this is magnificent!!

Wow, this was beautiful! You do your AU vids so well. They're so intense and dramatic and I really felt for Gwen, Lancelot and Merlin here. I almost wish the ep had ended this way!

This is really amazing. Although, I prefer arwen, I love the way you've shown another ending to this love triangle, if Lancelot was still alive this would've been the perfect ending! :) A great way to show the Lancelot/Gwen side of the story, keep it up! Love how you did the ending, it was so cute<3

This is really excellent ! I absolutely love it. Well Im a huge arwen fan so Id have loved to see a happy end for my OTP. But the ending youve chosen is really great too cause its unexpected ! Really its well done : ]

I can't explain how much I love this (and the prequel)! Though arthur wanting to kill lancelot doesn't quite seem right, it does really work well for your story. I loved the way you had merlin help lancelot and guinevere escape and how they had a happy ending. And even if Arthur's ended sad you implied it might one day be happy. This would have been such a perfect way for the show to do the love triangle! I seriously love this more than the show! It's perfect! thank you so much for making it!!!!

For your plot, the ending was perfect. While I don't think Arthur would have tried to have killed Lancelot (despite Agravaine's council), it worked for this story. And Merlin being the wonderful soul that he is. I'm so happy you decided to include him as much as you did. But all those happy memories poor Arthur had at the end nearly did me in. You're so amazing.

I actually had that feeling in my stomach at the end where I'm watching something and wanting to turn it of and make it stop. I mean that in a good way, if you believe it. It's like... When your favorite character dies in a show, and you want to stop watching because it hurts so much. That's what you did to me at the end of this. You had me believing that this was the real plot. And I'm so upset. But in a good way. Because you did here was just beautiful.
