Heute Nacht oder Nie
Faultlessly fitting tuxedo, hair slicked back, a cheeky look and Max Raabe sings the best of the 20s and early 30s with amusing nostalgia. Songs, hits and couplets. Cuban rumbas, cheerful foxtrots and elegant tangos - songs of amazingly serious, amusing, yet melancholy simplicity. The ironic lyrics suit the times today as much they did eighty years ago. In the concert halls of New York, Shanghai, Paris, Berlin and Moscow, in Tokyo, Los Angeles, Vienna, Amsterdam and Rome the audiences celebrate Max Raabe and his Palast Orchester with incredible enthusiasm.

  • He is a TREASURE!!!! Went to see him live at New Jersey Performing Arts Center a couple of weeks ago. BRILLIANT.........Totally captivating. Tight tight orchestra and perfect singing. His stage presence is very tongue in cheek and highly amusing too.

  • I don't understand, where are the comments for this wonderful video?

  • Wunderschön...Max Raabe und dieses Lied...

  • Just 1 person missed his flight on the "Graf Zeppelin" and had to take the "Hindenburg" instead.

  • This is so good it hurts. I've never seen a dirigible in an auditorium.

  • Just saw his first UK concert last week and thought he was great! He played this (sadly without the dirigible).

  • I watched their whole concert i think in berlin yesterday on TV. AMAZING

  • He's brilliant. I do hope I can finally see a live performance one of these days.

  • GEnius.. so happy I was able to see these Artists perform! <3

  • I saw this show on the Public Broadcasting station here in the US, and it was an absolute marvel. Max had some of the most hilarious things to say during the breaks, all delivered in his trademark deadpan style of course. Break a leg to see his show live, should you ever get the chance !
