How big do female Barnecks need to be to breed? I have a 9ft female and was wondering if she was considered big enough (although I don't have a male even if she is).
By the way, I don't want to jinx anything but if you get eggs from these two I would love to buy a male from you.

OwnedByRetics, This is my first try at breeding Scrubs. My female is just over 12 feet long and is going into her fourth year. I suspect that she is more than ready to produce. I am sure that there are scrub females out there that will produce at a solid nine feet, but I feel more comfortable with letting them gain not only the extra size, but also the extra year that it takes to get to 12 feet. As i know 12' and near 4 y.o is perfect. A friend of mine bred a female that size last year and got 21 eggs.
What's the male's size/age?
Congratulations again

Flavio, The male is young and small. He jumped on that girl right away though. He worked on her for quite a while before I saw copulation. He is under five feet long. The female ate a meal three weeks later, but I have not given up hope. The pair is currently split but I will do at least one more introduction this month. Will

Very nice!
Congratulations and let's hope for some scrub babyes :-) One question? Are you keeping em together all the year or just introducing male in female's cage?
I have a pair of scrubs too but they're too young, they're CB'07

Thanks! They are only kept together when I try to breed them. Will

Thanks All!! This pair continues to copulate, even today! I will watch the female for signs of ovulation and keep everyone updated. Will
