Lucky Ones

If you haven't yet heard of NYC-based metal grunge band The Indecent, start paying attention. Drummer Nicholas Burrows joined triplets Bo, Emily, and Madeline Brout last year and they've been leading us straight toward a new grunge scene since.

Lead singer Emily's calm, poetic delivery makes the band's underlying dark metal tones digestible. Check out her Kobain-meets-Grace Slick delivery in their new video "Lucky Ones"

This has a lot of potential. While grunge has de-evolved into whatever the hell post grunge is (creed, seether ect.) and alternative rock is a made up word for its offspring, there are still bands out there that can keep up with its original spirit. I dont just hand out compliments but this band does indeed show a good amount of potential, I will be looking further into The Indecent Band.
