This procedural video details a common urological procedure - 3-Way Urethral catheter insertion. This is typically used for haematuria / Clot retention and post-operatively following TURP and TURBT. In this video, a 3-Way catheter is inserted into male model and bladder washout is demonstrated, to expel blood clots from the bladder.

The video was made by Mr Iqbal S Shergill BSc(Hons) MRCS(Eng) FRCS(Urol) - Consultant Urological Surgeon in Wrexham, North Wales, UK. Mr Shergill has organised a number of practical skills courses for junior trainees, as well as publishing on all aspects of urology in the medical literature. He has edited five teaching text-books and continues to be involved in teaching, training and medical education. He is currently a Course Director for the successful "Is a Surgical Career for me?" course at the Royal Society of Medicine London, aimed at junior doctors and medical students.
