Dreadlocks are for everyone. Whether you get them for spiritual reasons or because you think they look cool. They're not exclusive to one race.

  • I HAVE A QUESTION OPEN FOR ANY1: BEING THAT WHITE PPL HAVE TO WASH THEIR HAIR DAILY BECAUSE OF IT BEING SO OILY..DO THEIRE HAIR SMELLS WHEN TRYN TO GT DREADS? YOU KNOW YOU CANT WASH YOUR HAIR WITH DREADS LIKE THEY HAVE TO.

  • @KenyaH252 That's actually a misconception. You can wash your hair as often as you like with dreads. Some people just choose not to because they don't want to deal with having to "fix" the dreads as they become loose or unraveled. Wetting your hair more often actually helps it loc faster.

  • @AjaLocsItUp does tht answer white ppl hair or black ppl?? bkuz we do have diffrent hair types.

  • @KenyaH252 Both. Having dreads doesn't affect your ability to wash your hair, regardless of your hair type. People just tend to wash less because they're afraid of the dreads coming undone.

  • thank you for adding a little more love to the world ps im white and getting my lovley spirit locks 2 moro morning i cant wait. love light and laughter to all.

  • @mrsmelloopy Thanks for your comment and congrats on your new locs!

  • @rite2bcreative There is a double standard. It's unfortunate, but it definitely exists. And you're right, I'm sure lots of black people would be offended if white people made videos saying that black people should stop straightening their hair and trying to be white.

Dreadlocks are for any and everyone. Race has nothing to do with it. Thanks for leaving your comment.

  • as u get older u see things differently. the more u learn the more u begin to understand things. i dont discriminate against people from other races who get dreads. but yet you dont see people makin a big deal when black girls gettin straight long weaves that mimic caucaisian womens hair. therefore, i think people are just ignorant & stop allowing things to keep us racially divided.

  • thanks you for your honesty

  • @KenyaH252 I am white with dreads and I wash my hair every three days with LUSH shampoo. At the end of the three days, my hair does smell a bit like a person, but it is not anything like armpit stank! I always smell nice and my hair will adjust to being washed every three days.

  • I love your honesty. Thanks for being supportive for us little white kids :)

  • in my case my hair is very dry and stays in knots now that it has reached the middle of my back i keep it pulled up all the time so im getting dreads for the 2nd time so i dont have to worry with brushing it all the time. i got dreads when i was 22 and loved em yrs later im gonna do it again b4 i cut my hair all off cause after i get them i have 2 cut em out anyways
