Train Wreck

This is a brief movie about the tragic train crash that killed members of a family in Hammond, Indiana. I originally shot this footage to show my sons (and wife) how dangerous it is to race these trains two blocks from my home. I hope that they will put gates at these railroad crossings soon. Less then a month after this crash took place another man was killed by a train one block away at another crossing not gated.

You know the thing about this is 90% of you still run the crossing. Don't comment on stupidity. Everyday I have at the least 10 to 20 cars run the gates on a 150 mile run. People are stupid. I can't move but you can stop. If your day is so important to run in front of a train you are suicidal. So dont fuck with us. And don't put your lives in our hands because we deal with the shit after your dead! Quit being idiots people.

@farnerma i know a guy(went back to PA)that has photographic proof of 6 or 7 busses going around at the casino.i have seen Hammond cops go around for no reason.i almost got killed because of a stupid tanker truck driveer went around the gates by the casiuno.and i was 13 at the time.im 14 and this law NEEDS TO BE ENFORCED

Trains Blowing their Horns for the Grade crossings like they should, Red lights, bells and Gates are activated, yet alot of idiots ignore the all the warning signs of an aproaching train.
