1) It is not so important if Evelyn had 29 or 49 or 59 years, the important thing is how passionate she was and still is by the sounds, learn to listen and teach listening to those who hear not only play an instrument, but when she talks about the art of hearing and sense not only with their ears, opening the understanding of what you hear not only what is produced by mankind but by nature, is not shocking to see her in concert, but to understand what she says of her experience since young.

That is so unbelievable that she is deaf!...that she do all that she can do as a profoundly deaf woman...she even talks totally normally. This defies everything I thought I knew about 'deaf' people and their limitations.

@macaroni24464 That, but that is something most great musicians will do. What's so special about Evelyn is that she feels the music. I think it's very much like how you can feel your chest voice (lower, speaking voice) resonate in your chest and in your abdomen, while very high pitches resonate more in your head.
