  • This is an excellent video. I have watched both parts twice. But for goodness sakes, next time turn down the music or take it off. Are you afraid we'll be bored if there's no music?

Part two in this respect was worse. Loud music, Quiet voices. I strained to listen, even though, admittedly, it was worth it.

Never the less, I am glad you posted it.

  • Why does every poster insist on subjecting viewers to their goddamned music? I can barely hear what these guys are saying.

  • Gottfried is wrong in his critique of Bloom. Gottfried's interpretation of Nietzsche is very shallow. It is well understood by other besides Bloom that Nietzsche has become a thinker of the Left in part because of his deconstruction of Christianity; his emphasis on authenticity; his cult of the Will is an implicit attack on traditionalism, on and on. I like the thinkers in this video, but none of them have ever penned a book that describes the souls of the contemporary young like Bloom.
