@DragonAge2k Lets not forget the enormous failure rate of the GTX480 for its heat and 580 & 590 for tiny power phases. Yes those make them worth the price :/

@DragonAge2k who had Dx11 first: ATI...that's one of the most advanced graphics tech of the last years...ATI has the same features as nvidia, just with other names...well, except PhysX, but ATI is working together with Havok to establish some stuff...Also, which games use PhysX effectively to give you something special? Besides the fact that also CPUs can run PhysX...so it's not nvidia exclusive

Didn't say Nvidia was bad I actually use Nvidia but ATI isn't cheap and has basically the same features as Nvidia just with different names..

i remember talking with someone about how many simultaneous shaders they used in this. it was "up to 512", which was fucking amazing for the time (as older dx8 cards could only run 92 shaders operations at a time)

The demo will not run, if it detects that your card is less than an X1xxx series.
