On November 2nd, 2011 the New Israel Fund hosted an evening honoring Alice Shalvi, a pioneering activist for social justice in Israel and a world renowned feminist. The event featured an interview with Alice Shalvi, remarks from special guest Gloria Steinem and CEO of the New Israel Fund, Daniel Sokatch, as well as a musical performance by Cantor Angela Buchdahl.
Professor Alice Shalvi has been a tireless advocate for inequality and social justice in Israel. She has been involved with the New Israel Fund since its founding and is a longstanding member of its International Council and Religious Pluralism Grants Committee. As founder of the Israel Women's Network and Principal of the Pelech Religious Experimental High School for Girls (both NIF grantees), Alice paved the way for women's rights and religious pluralism in Israel. In 1989, Alice received the Emil Grunzweig Human Rights Award from the Association of Civil Rights in Israel. In 2007, she was awarded the Israel Prize, Israel's most prestigious honor, for her lifetime achievements and unique contributions to Israeli society.

New Foundation funded the CWP over $ -250,000.
Zoubi founded and managed the association "I'lam", an association supported by the NIF and Shatil. This movement is spreading anti-Israel propaganda films, and its members are senior Hamas supporters declared.
Thus the aim Zoubi said the organization's director: "Our aim is to question the right of Israel to exist and put this issue to the test at the World Court."
