great swingig video but that's not tal that's cal collins the most underrated guitarist in jazz history. I also think charlie christian was the first guitarist to play bop. keep swinging

I agree with you that Cal Collins is vastly underrated as a jazz guitarist. I especially love his cool, crisp sound; Tal Farlow: oops, my mistake!

You could be right there. But listen to Django playing his own composition 'Rhythm Futur'.. Boppy and way ahead of its time.

indeed it was. When I saw it I recognized the basement right away bc I followed him to every gig that would allow me to. When I got sleepy I'd curl up and go to sleep in his bass case. lol
