  • ...this is supposed to be a lullaby, i.e. roughly having to do with putting a baby to sleep (there are also sick jokes relating to putting a DOG to sleep...)...Mr.M. does not make it much of a convincing lullaby...but being who he is, makes it work anyway...

  • @fredericfranc

On the other hand, I know plenty of pianists doing the Berceuse who can easily put to sleep babies and adults as well.

  • più che una ninna nanna,un incantesimo

  • wow ! I have just heard another timeless recording of this masterpiece . thank you Michelangeli

  • certamente splendido, ma preferisco l'interpretazione di Kempff

  • Truly lyrical.

  • Michelangeli's Ravel Concertio in G is also amazing

  • splendida interpretazione....un volo di rondine

  • There are lovely performances of this on here. One that I have that I never knew existed until recently is a recording that Solomon made - it is VERY beautiful, like spun gold, rather simple and incredibly beautiful.

  • Inarrivabile!!!
