Israel "The Hurricane" Hernandez and Valentin "El Tigre" Bueno demonstrate at Ring Lords Vale Tudo a medium-difficulty MMA/wrestling/grappling drill.

For MMA purposes, ALWAYS practice the arm drag from the OVER-UNDER clinch, NEVER the collar tie or from a basic wrestling stance. Practice REAL! From the collar tie or from a wrestling stance, you will eat punches and knees. From a more neutral over-under clinch, you are safe from hard strikes, and still attack.

Trap the wrist and break it off, trap the tricep, and pull your opponent towards his toes. Change to a Gable grip on the stomach with BOTH arms under the arms of uke. Walk your hips in, lift, and turn, keeping your base as your opponent lands.
