@54cookie1 How lucky you are to have seen this lady on stage. Here in the UK there are a handful of Soul fans who realise how awesome she was. I agree with you 100% she is in a class of her own, to me shes the greatest ever female singer taken from us tragically so young. Its scandalous that many so called singers, over the years, have gained far more publicity and success than her.

@jdpatterson100 Actually my man that is not the Ojay's in the back ground that is the moments and whatnauts as she was from NJ. and in the same stable with Sylvia Robinson of the "Pillow Talk" fame the one who founded Sugar Hill records and Brought us Rap in the form of the Sugar Hill Gang that is who. Linda was just an awesome vocalist with raw power and sheer soul in her delivery. as a boy I loved her say back in 67 or 68 when the singers came straight out of the Churches! Man! John 3:16
