2012: A Stoner Comedy - Teaser Trailer

Creative Armada and Smoothio Films have just completed the teaser for '2012: A Stoner Comedy'. This was an opportunity to do a screen test for the Prather Bros., a local comedy team. The teaser depicts a 'day in the life' of two pothead brothers turned unlikely prophets, during their last afternoon on earth. The concept was developed by J.Nothing, Flax Glor, and the Prather Bros. The short film treatment and script deals with everything from politics to the irony and absurdity of modern religion and philosophy. We had a lot of fun doing this screen test and hope you enjoy what we came up with. The entire piece was done in a week with two cast and two crew. We shot in 1080/24p format and posted in Cinema 4D, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro. We'd love to make the short or feature version of this but unless you want to give us $500,000 it's not going to happen. Enjoy the clip.
