Stephen King can't say anything about Anne because she's a far better writer than he is.

I worship no one, cryptid. She is not my idol. I like Mrs. Rice's prose style mainly, which i think is elegant and beautiful. I have not read the comments on Amazon you mentioned, and i will check it out if I can find them. Still, I think Mr's Rice's journey back to her spiritual roots is interesting, and if she's happy with her life, I celebrate it. Good wishes to you.

Images of broken light they dance before me like a million eyes they call me on and on across the universe!

I miss the vampires. Sure vampires may be decadent, frightening, selfish and sometimes maddening, but its the only thing that makes sense to me. Vampires are not just contradiction to the existence of god, they feel pain like no other because they have to kill. There are so little of them, and so feel loneliness like no other. They feel so out place in a modern world but at the same time they are also so perfect, and beautiful, filled with love for the finer things in life... and oh so powerful.

Anne Rice doesn't need an editor. She needs some more darkness to her, and get rid of all her Religious stuff, cause I think its finally driven her mad. No matter how many times you stare at a religious icon, or colored stain glass windows of saints in a church, thats all it ever is. Its lies, its beautiful sure buts its all lies. Its the old answers to questions we couldn't answer before. Its speculation taken to the extreme... its madness.

When I first heard about Anne Rice making a book on Jesus, I thought it was about vampires. Perhaps she would make Judas a vampire (for the fact that he had betrayed jesus, and thus when he was found out, he hung himself out of guilt. and like Jesus, instead of dieing, he came back to life, but as a vampire. He then probably held many blood orgies. Judas knew Jesus pretty well to, he knew him and he also knew the dirty secrets jesus had, like jesus's wife (mary magdalene)

i can't believe it! Anne rice likes Don Camillo! She has the same tastes of my grandmother!! Fernandel rules!!!
what an insightful and funny interview. i, too, had such wonderful nuns in Catholic school. they changed the course of my life and had complete unconditional love for me. i will never forget their influence. i resently discovered in shock and grief that my Catholic high school in Ennis, Tx has closed just this year. i've gone back many times over the years just to stand in the church and recapture momments from Friday morning mass. beautiful memories. thank you, anne.

Yes, the nuns changed our lives, and I hope there will be more books about the nuns, about their accomplishment, and about what nuns are doing today. Mother Angelica's order is flourishing and so are others. There are books to be written, stories to be told. Anne.
