  • heheh turkeys!

just yesterday there was about 6 of them in my backyard eating away. they are still cute looking.they come aroudnd once a week to say hi adn to eat our grass! :S

  • I lived on a large piece of property with a year round stream and was spending all day down there because it was so cool. It was shady and the water was cold because it was a spring fed creek. The turkeys would come through with their little ones every day and they got so used to me they would come within several inches of me. They were so cute but that was before I bought my camera.

  • The last time I saw any wild turkeys was while I was visiting my father in Michigan. There were about 6 adults and 3 different sets of babies of 8 to 12 each set. They got all upset when I started taking pictures of them. The females ran away with the babies and the males came alittle closer, warned me off vocally and then ran away. lol Oh well, so much for my close encounter.

  • I don't know how I missed your comment. It is so much fun to see things like this that you don't see growing up in the city. Turkey chicks are so cute. I've seen them too and was tickled as they jumped up high trying to get at the tall grass seeds.

  • cool turkeysbut still Frostie is cuter!

  • Yes, I agree! I wonder what they'd do if they saw Frostie dancing on the fence! Lol!
