The band Bamboo is one of the contemporary bands that I actually like. So far, I haven't been disappointed by the band though of course there are some tracks (in the first album) that I'm not impressed with. Not that it would matter with the likes of them since they are talented and quite good. Their second album, Light Peace Love, is actually the one that I prefer though most Bamboo fans would most likely gravitate to the first being more conventional to the sound of "rock."

To think about it though, Bamboo (Francisco Mañalac) is another of those musicians from the 90's that I like a lot. I think that Rivermaya was a lot better when Bamboo was their front instead of Rico Blanco. To be fair though, Rivermaya's sound was okay prior to Blanco's attempt to become the Philippine's Chris Martin (at this time, Coldpaly was quite in and were the cool thing to music listeners).
