  • People seem to get hung up by the fact that the skis are closer together. Modern race technique has a much wider stance. I recommend that improving skiers try to use a wider stance in tougher snow conditions. You will soon realize the need for Harb's 'Bullet proof carved short turns' because you will be exhausted or face down in the snow

  • nice vid. short turns (a little slided) are the perfect technique for speed control, for all terrain. for steep, crowded or icy slopes, it's the only way, in fact.
