@InfernoCorpHQ I don't have a working 360 at the moment. Original 360s are garbage. I'm saving up for a slim-line one.

I think this arcade version sucks. once i got to the snowfield and saw theboss right at the beginning and shortly after the level 6 boss shows up i was like wtf dude. So then i keep going and it skips to level 5, then skips to 6, then 7, and then that turns into the final alien lair stage. Wtf man this is a rip off. They just smashed 5 seperate levels into one clusterfuck of a level. I think they should scrap it and remake it with all the levels. All your paying for is the first 3 levels. ripoff

@PatronSaint210 The original game only had five levels, not eight, and the game was also pretty quiet. What more do you want? Not every game has to be stupidly loud like FPS's tend to be. I'd rather have the audio be quiet and accurate than loud and clipping.

Why is the arcade version shorter than the NES version? Because what if your parents or someone you're with got done shopping around and wanted to leave home so they can watch the news or something?
Anyway, the arcade version's music and sound FX makes me think of the music in other Konami arcades like Gradius and Crime Fighters. I like the arcade Contra more, because the NES version is so overrated.

Remember, the arcade versions always came out first, and the console versions followed like a year later. Konami liked to use some pretty advanced graphics and sound hardware in their arcade machines, so when it came time to port something, quality always had to be lost. To get people to buy the home version, Konami would always add a level or two. The NES version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game was really toned down in graphics, but a few new areas were added. Same case here.
