Jeremy Barnes has played in Neutral Milk Hotel, Bablicon, and in Guignol along with members of Volcano the Bear. He started A Hawk and A Hacksaw pretty much as a solo recording project but with the addition of multi-instrumentalist Heather Trost. The group has expanded even more since this footage and continues to evolve in magnificent ways.

What I think is amazing about this band is how varied they sound. No two songs of theirs sound the same. Every album is a new experience.

I guess your right, they tend to get off stage and play unplugged when they perform in a small hall :) that's so amazing..

they sound more interested in what they're doing while busking as opposed to stuck in a sterile gigi hall... as i say, not one track of their's stinks. excellente.
