Stefan and Laura were interesting especially since they ruined Stefan and Katherine.

They were great together, but i hated Kats, and cant stand the actress so i am cool with them being destroyed, just wished he wouldnt have been embarrassed because of it.

Stefan was an amazing, complex and multi-faceted man and TIIC ASSASSINATED his character at the end! I was a true Laura/Stefan fan and wished that they had stayed together.  Luke and Laura just never was all that to me...

Lots of people liked Stefan and Laura, I agree that it was a mistake to split them up. They do that a lot on the show with couple they think are more popular or who they like more.

Stefan A.K.A. Steven Nichlos was great hated the way they treated his character before he left the show was never the nicest guy in the world but he had a heart especially for Nikolas. I guess it was because he made the greatest sin of all by out shining God Luke A.K.A. Tony Gearey

@eedernator I totally agree with you! I love the way Stefan was a bad guy in a lot of ways but loved Nikolas and would have done anythiing for him. I even remember Helena saying to Luke "Stefan has only two weak points: Nikolas and your precious little Laura."

I also agree that Stefan was probably ruined because he competed with Luke. They did that with Scotty too which I'm still kind of bitter about (Pathetic? Maybe)

Stefan was a fascinating, complicated character! Its too bad the GH writers had to go with Stefan off the deep end, especially now that Stephen Nichols is no longer employed on DOOL !

Not only did they ruin a great character in Stefan, but they also turned Nikolas into an ungrateful jerk to the man who raised him and was under no legal obligation to. Nikolas could have and should have named his son "Stefan" as a tribute to the man who was like a father to him.

I agree. I really liked it when they tried pairing Stefan with Laura. They should've done more to try to develop that relationship than giving in putting her back with Luke. I was never really into Luke and Laura either. They got on my nerves for some reason. But they could've IMO done a lot with the pairing of Laura and Stefan. She was the only other person besides Nikolas that could bring out the good in Stefan. My heart went out to Stephen Nichols when they messed up the character.
