Video presented by Phillip & Willim Royster and Demetius Bradford. Trinity Temple Seventh Day Adventist Chuch in Kalalmazoo, Michigan.
Here's a awesome and amazingly powerful testimony: Their mom was told 15 years ago that she had a short time to live due to cancer. Her prayer request was that God would let her live long enough to see her two youngest son's grow up and be able to stand on their own feet.
God heard and granted her request. At the time Donnie McClurkin hadn't even begun to pen the song "Stand."
Although Phillip Jr's. mother was buried on his 18th birthday. William and Phillip are a testament of the awesome answer to their mother's request unto God. It is with pleasure and humbled spirit that I am allowed by God to present this video for your viewing pleasure. I would thank my son Demetrius Bradford for his never failing ability to allow God to use him in a mighty way. He and the Royster's practiced dilligenty and earnestly to perform this in honor of his friends mom. Thank you son, I love you soooooooo....... much. Shout out to K&K Mime for the inspiration of the choreography. May the Lord bless you and continue to minister through you. The day before Sister Royster passed away I asked her how she was really feeling. Her response was " I'm not in pain, I am comfortable, but I'm tired and I'm ready." Dora passed away Wednesday April 15th, 2009 at the age of 48 years blessed.
To Venitra, Jessica,William,Phillip,Ronson and Darnell be encouraged that your mother and stepmother didn't lose the battle to cancer but she gave the battle to the Lord and will reign victorious in that Bright and Glorious morning when Jesus returns for His people. She was ready. She was steadfast, unmoveable and abounding in His Love. Her faith sustained her and her belief in the resurrection never failed. Learn from her and I pray for a peace that passes all understanding for you. God's word say's" Love bears all things."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 states " To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which has been planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather up stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to reframe from embracing; a time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; a time to reap, and a time to sow; a time to keep silent, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. May His peace be with you until we meet again.
Phillip and William don't forget your mothers request: don't forget to water the plants. In loving memory of Sister Dorleda Royster. Your friend of 38 years, Sister Desirae McDaniel I LOVE YOU and will hold you dear in my heart always.

  • Those of you that disagree with these young men paying tribute to their mother through mime I say who are you?? You don't know why they choose to do this, it could have been something their mother wanted. So instead of judging them you should be encouraging them to do just what the song says, "STAND".

  • Whoever said this is ridiculous, IS ridiculous!!

  • Wow to God be the glory that even in your pain you ministered under the anointing. You guys are awesome & you ministered to my spirit as well. Just when I felt like throwing in the towel you guys reminded me that I can STAND & endure whatever God has in store for me. Be encouraged & blessed.

  • WOW! God Bless all of you....even those of you who disliked this video. Obviously you need Jesus too. What a wonderful tribute. Mime is already difficult. But to do it at your own mother's funeral is so humbling. May your ministry continue to bless those around you.

  • @evette2930 ... Well said Evette!!! Those who replied with negative comments have no right. Only these sons knew what their mother's wishes were, and I praise them for having the strength under what must have been enormous grief, to carry it out. We all grieve in very different ways, some of these ways may appear "unusual" to some, but people should have respect to acknowledge this in the very least..

  • What an amazing tribute to their Mom! God bless you young men!! I'm sure your Mom is very proud of her sons.

  • The Negative Commens Are Probably Coming From Non-Believers That Know NOTHING About The Songs Meanings...This Was A Very Powerful Praise...Im Sure Their Mother Was Proud Of The In Heaven!

  • @MrAnalplunger wow

  • @evette2930 Amen!

  • TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!

  • MAY GOD CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN EACH OF YOU AND KEEP PRAISING HIM!
