v.2.1 is an ultra-cheap, resistored two-mode low light level neutral white flood beam flashlight, developed from a low-level-only v.2 prototype by adding a momentary "Boost" microswitch and 100-Ohm resistor connected in parallel (video contains circuit drawing). Momentary microswitch was scavenged from an old VCR. All resistors are metal film 1/8W, 5%. Flashlight runs at 80% efficiency.
This is a final stage of development, as far as I'm concerned;)

  • Why don't you sell these?

I'll bet they would move well.

  • @rhpicayune There are already acclaimed similar lights on the market, manufactured by an US company. My version is cheap if you count components only, but fabrication is very labour-intensive. Cheers

  • good music

  • @jds491r That's how they made scores for Chevy ad campaigns back in the 70's:)
