Temple demo- Residents march with cow's head

Some 50 residents enraged with the proposed relocation of a Hindu temple to their area staged a noisy protest with a severed cow's head this afternoon.

The residents - from Section 23 in Shah Alam - who gathered after the Friday prayers, placed the head outside the gates of the state secretariat building for a short period before removing it.

"Where is Xavier? This head is for him," shouted one of the protesters in reference to Selangor executive councillor Dr Xavier Jeyakumar.

Addendum:
The Malaysian Communications & Multimedia Commission (MCMC) apparently found the messages and opinions paraded in this demonstration offensive enough to warrant a warning under Section 211/233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act. The targeted videos are being reproduced and uploaded as mirrors just in case Malaysiakini does take it down under pressure from the MCMC. I'd encourage folks to do the same on other video portals. No more cover ups!

this is my view as a muslims..

first of all i would like to apologize to my brothers from other religion referring to dis video.seriuosly,this is not a way for us to correct things or solve prob.it juz make it worst.our islam never teach us to do such thing.it teach us to solve any misunderstanding though gud ways...not like humiliating other religion coz by doin dat is juz da same as humilating islam itself.i believe on 1 thing,a gud muslim is always humble,not extremist..correct me if im wrong

PAS, in kelantan, there were temples build in the population of 95% malay... and we're not talking about "pondok"( hut ) size.

selangor sees into the problem, and do not wish for temple removal, which made it isnt a problem at all.
