A song from the movie Beowulf, the version sung by Robin Wright Penn. I learned it by ear so here are the notes:

(Left Hand)
G Bb D G D Bb
G Bb D G D Bb (before lyrics start)
G Bb D
F A C
E G Bb
D F A
D F A
E G Bb
F A C
-repeat from beginning

(Right Hand)
G D D D C Bb C
Just wait though wide he may roam
C Bb Bb A G F G
Al-ways a he-ro comes home.
-repeated with other lyrics 4x

I'm sure this will help.

Wow, 10,000 views! Yay:)

  • and deepen into my knowledge of old folklore. I play a little piano but my main instrument is the guitar (mainly classical songs) and I am hoping to buy a Hurdy-Gurdy in my trip to Germany next month. Shall I be able to lay my hands upon that beautiful instrument, I promise I will make a cover of this beautiful song on it.

Thanks for making my world a little bit better,

    Love and Light,

    Baal.
