Yes, we used it loads of times. We had to stop when the lighter fluid dissolved the adhesive on the tape. But it was good for loads of uses.

Yeah that was the wadding, we used some kitchen roll to ensure it was a nice snug fit. Also after a bit of messing around we found apples are the best thing to launch from it as they are generally more round than the potatoes we had.
