Some pictures and a landing in an old 1961 Cessna 172B. I was flying, my freind is playing camera guy. The airplane takes some time to get used to. You need to fly it a little faster then normal, although it is VERY stable at low speeds. I found out the hard way on my first landing! Anyway, a wonderful old bird. VERY smooth engine. A good freind of mine just bought her recently.

  • 40 deg of flap and you're wondering why you can't keep the nose up on flare!? Try a couple with no flaps and you'll be pleasantly surprised at how high that nose can get. Nice plane.

  • What kind of cruise can you get out of it? Have any problems with that 0-300?

  • Hey buddy!! I had a '58 and I currently have a '63... Only use the 40 degrees of flaps if you have too.. I typically use only 20 if I have no one in the back of the plane. I use 30 if I have someone in the back and hardly ever use 40, cant remember last time I did. That way you can flare and land on the mains. Have fun, nice plane

  • Ha ha ha look at what i found!!! I like it!!!
