New invention: a simple and efficient low drag turbine following the logarithmic spiral configuration found everywhere in the universe from hurricanes, to galaxies. This new Horizontal axis turbine is very practical and can generate a lot of clean energy, cheap and easy to build, and low maintenance, efficient in slow water and wind currents, no damns required.
can be mounted to a moving object like a car, a boat or a train, to a street light pole, or tethered.
The goal of this project is to have a cheaper and cleaner way to generate electricity especially in developing countries and remote villages.
The blades may be build from recycled plastic bags and bottles saving the environment on both levels; manufacturing and use.

project is funded by my personal money and donations.
Any contributions would be greatly appreciated, please go to our website for more info.
prototype coming soon.

  • I don`t understand why you would drag it in the first place?

Search for zotloeterer if you want to see vortex theorie at work.

  • @heavyweather thank you for your comment, imagine dragging the turbine in the water behind a sail boat for example, the wind pushing the boat will actually be causing the turbine to rotate as the boat moves and generate electricity for use on the boat. I've see zotloetere's work before it's pretty impressive.

  • If you Google the name", Viktor Schauberger, you will find that this is not a new invention.

  • @francovance1 I Know Viktor Schauberger worked with spirals and similar turbines but I couldn't find one with the same configuration. Which specific one are you talking about.

  • Very interesting idea!

It is fantastic - met people with own invents!

    Best and warm regards
