Hey People. I'm simply re-uploading all the videos into HD. :] This one is really hard to read, and I tried to fix that, but I really couldn't. Please comment and subscribe!
----------------------------------
- The horse drawn street cars once used Clydesdales, but the horses were so strong they pulled the cars off the tracks.
- Until late 70's, the bank of America on Main Street was a functioning bank, and the only one that was open on Sunday.
- The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor features a large green elephant. This elephant was a gift from Disneyland Paris and was originally filled with pennies.
- City Hall was designed by Imagineer Harper Goff, who did most of the visual work in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. He copied the design of City Hall directly from the old courthouse of his home town Fort Collins, Colorado.
- The base of the flagpole was purchased from a scrape heap for real cheap. It was once the base of a lamp post.
- Main Street U.S.A. represents Walt's hometown, Marceline Missouri in 1901, the year he was born.
- The Indian Statue on Main Street has a twin and had a purpose. At one point the other one stood in front of a tobacco shop on Main Street. This one has been taken out, but his twin in Frontierland (in front of the candy shop) remains.
- The horse-less cars are outfitted with tractor engines to give them their authentic antique sounds.
- The day Disneyland opened, the asphalt has not set, and people's feet sunk into the pavement.
- Some of the trains that circle Disneyland have a seat behind the engine on "the tender car". If the Cast Member are kind when you ask, you may get to ride in it.

That concludes Main Street U.S.A.'s video. Please comment with your thoughts and subscribe. Neither the photos nor the music are mine. Photos from flickr.com
Actually we still use Clydsdales, and they don't pull the cars off the track at all :)
