  • Have you seen Wayne's new shoes? Neigher has he! I remember when Wayne told me that joke. He was a good guy, and he will be missed.

  • The clip at 3:20 is great... two of Seatlte's all time greats having a little fun on the air. I love Wayne's expression here.

All of us long time Seattlelites miss you both Harry and Wayne. We all hope you are both resting peacefully.

  • I remember ! - A (real surprise) to discover (this) piece - history - video presentation ! Thank (you) ! Sincerely, a Seattle native.

  • I guess Seattle really could have used "The Mound of Sound" to keep the Sonics in town.

  • I always remember his phrase "I don't like it, reverse it." And I think he liked to make reference to "vanilla wafers and lemonade", at least way back when I used to watch him in the 70's. RIP.

  • I had no clue he had passed. Mound of the sound!

  • Even before he was on TV, I loved listening to Wayne on KIRO "Sportsline" on the radio.

I was a kid and my Dad and I truly enjoyed KIRO Sportline together.

Met Wayne during a remote broadcast at the Everett Mall Sears with Sounders Jimmy Gabriel and Jimmy McCalister.

RIP Wayne. Hope you're enjoying the "Lemonade and Vanilla Wafers..."

  • Never be another like him, thanks wayne we'll not forgot you.
