NCAS honored the Father of Organized Skepticism, Dr. Paul Kurtz, with the 2009 Philip J. Klass award. The ceremony was held during the Center For Inquirys12th World Congress in Bethesda, Maryland on April 10, 2009. Paul Kurtz is the founder and chairman of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and Prometheus Books. In part one, Dr. Kurtz is introduced by Scott Snell, President of NCAS.

@demmylowther Utter rubbish. How have you done research to find 95% of witenesses are in the categogry described? That would be an impossible task to achieve unless you had access to a database of all UFO reports going back to 1940s and the politcal views of all witnesses. Not only that but most UFO sightings do not get reported for fear of ridicule. I have seen UFO's, I know friends and family that have seen them and none of them are left wing and certainly not aetheists.

I would like to ask a question to an authority on the subject of UFO's.I have been doing some unofficial research on what type of people truly believe in UFO's/Aliens/Gov.cover ups and I found that 95% of the people are left wing ideologs,Athiests,or both.Why ? If UFO's are a reality like they claim,why wouldn't a conservative witness a UFO ? I myself am a skeptic.Not because I believe in God but I see no tangible evidence.These people who do believe think they have all the evidence they need.
