Not trying to belittle their actions in any way, as i'm grateful for their sacrifices and those of all allied forces who liberated my country (the netherlands) from nazi rule, but operation market garden of which E company was a part, was a failure, and did not liberate Holland. The country (above the major rivers) was eventually mostly liberated by the canadian ground forces.
