Canon Reflex Zoom 8-3 -- Walktrough and presentation

I believe, this is the first video on youtube on this model!! Im using gloves for protection, occasionally i take it of so i can operate the camera!!!!I saw the new canon eos 550D and i felt i had to do a video of our old Canon reflex zoom 8-3 brought from netherlands a couple of years ago!!!! Its in perfect condition only the 8mm film riped in two! its working perfectly, even the battery still has 0,36v in it, and it wasn't changed in 20 years or so!!!!! This is the true quality of canon!!!!!!!!!!Canon itself broke the record it set with its 4x zoom lens by developing this 5x model while making the total length of the lens 5 mm shorter. The accuracy of the CdS exposure meter, first applied in the previous model, was improved, and the design was renewed, including a white alumite finished lens barrel. This new design looked unbalanced at the beginning, but later it was recognized as an ideal new design that solidified the prestige of Canon with zoom by becoming a best seller. This was filmed with toshiba camileo h20 on 720p hd!!! Music is by chopin, raindrop prelude!!!!!!

Vry good video and I think this is the only one showing this amazing and wonderful camera. Congrat!

I bought a same type of camera yesterday in a very nice working condition. The most amazing thing that the spring motor working so smoothly. The lens are great and yes, zoom lens! :) I can't wait to feed it with film (black and white 2x8mm foma film). It is also nice to see other 8mm camera fans are here.

how do you project it to see the movies?

unfortunatly my father told me that his projector is damage ... and it doesn't work ... and he has so many old films ... that we might never see again.... :(

Today i was moving some stuff at my parents house and i found this amazing camera ... in apperently great shape! ... (i found this things so beautiful and full of history)...

... and i went to the internet to learn about it... and i found your video... it's the same camera that i have, the same case ... everything in perfect condition (well i don't konw if it works, but sound like it does work) ...
